SPLASH was a full-service, mobile swim instruction business owned by Lauren Boultbee, that guaranteed one-on-one swimming instruction from a qualified and enthusiastic instructor who valued safety, fun and success. This business supported both Lauren and her brother Nicholas for 10 years while they both prepared for a successful future outside of SPLASH. SPLASH was dedicated to not only providing engaging and quality swim instruction that results in significant progress for students but also unparalleled customer service and communication with clients. Coupled with this commitment to excellence, was the convenience that SPLASH provided in being a mobile swim instruction business. Families with their own backyard swimming pools enjoyed the convenience of having fully certified, insured and success-driven instructors teach their children in the comfort and safety of their own homes. 

 

SPLASH was founded in 2014 by Lauren as a graduate of the Summer Company Program, which is a youth entrepreneurship initiative launched by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment (MEDTE) in 2001. The program provides hands-on business mentoring from local business leaders and offers students grants up to $3000 to start a business and turn their Summer Company into a reality.
