About You:

As a swim instructor with us, you will play an important role in instilling confidence and teaching essential swimming skills to our students, from toddlers to adults. We are seeking individuals who not only have swim experience, but also embody fun, friendliness, and motivation. Your role will be crucial in inspiring our students and making a lasting impact on their swimming journey.

We are currently looking for Instructors to teach swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. At this time, we are looking for availability from the beginning of June to the end of August, 2025. You will shadow our head instructor during the first June session and can begin booking your own clients starting the last two weeks of June.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction on proper swimming techniques and water safety in accordance with the Lifesaving Swim programs.

• Communicate clearly with students and parents.

• Develop lesson plans and tailor them to the needs of each student.

• Report in a timely manner any issues, concerns, or areas of development to the Owner/Founder.

• Completion of progress reports sent to SPLASH weekly

• Report cards are to be submitted to SPLASH 24-hours prior to being handed to the client.

• Schedule your clients and manage related paperwork (i.e. company waivers, pool rules, etc.).

• Drive responsibly and arrive safely at clients’ pools.
   

Pay & Benefits:

• $100 per session (each biweekly session is eight 30-minute lessons spread across eight working days)

• Monday to Thursday work week, Fridays off (except for any lessons that need to be rescheduled).

• Ability to book as many sessions as you like from June 16th to the end of August).

• Determine your own travel radius.

• Create your own schedule.

• Uniform provided.
   

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid G2 license.

• Current Lifesaving Swim Instructor (LSI) certification.

• Access to a vehicle for travel to clients.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience working with children.

• Previous experience planning and implementing lesson plans is an asset.

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certificate.

• Current National Lifeguarding Certification (NLS).
